Anadarko spuds Nunukan exploration well

US oil firm Anadarko Petroleum has spuded its Badik-1 exploration well in Nunukan PSC, offshore East Kalimantan, an official of the upstream oil and gas regulator BPMIGAS said.
The agency's external division head Agus Suryono told Petromindo.Com on Thursday that the well was spudded on June 16, 2010.
He didn?t mention the planned total depth of the well.
Anadarko is using West Triton rig to drill the well. The rig is scheduled to stay at the site for 92 days, he added.
Anadarko is the Nunukan PSC's operator with a 35 percent interest in Nunukan PSC. Its partner, Indonesia-listed firm PT Medco Energi International has a 40 percent interest with the balance equally owned by Indian firms Bharat Petroleum Corp. and Videocon Industries. (godang)
