Anadarko spuds offshore E. Kalimantan exploration well

The agency's external division head Agus Suryono told Petromindo.Com in Jakarta on Tuesday that Anadarko spudded the well in June 2, adding the well had been drilled to the depth of 4,925 feet.
?Currently, 20 inch casing has been set at the well,? he said.
He didn?t mention the planned total depth of the well.
Meanwhile, West Triton rig, which Anadarko planned to use for the drilling of its Badik-1 exploration well in Nunukan PSC, offshore East Kalimantan had arrived at the site this morning, Agus said
According to Agus, spudding at the Badik-1 well is expected to start this weekend and the rig is scheduled to stay at the site for 95 days.
Anadarko is the Nunukan PSC's operator with a 35 percent interest in Nunukan PSC. Its partner, Indonesia-listed firm PT Medco Energi International has a 40 percent interest with the balance equally owned by Indian firms Bharat Petroleum Corp. and Videocon Industries.
Anadarko is the operator of the Popodi deepwater block with a 24 percent interest. (godang)
