Anadarko to drill 3 wells in Nunukan in Q2

Anadarko Indonesia Nunukan Company (AINC) plans to drill three wells in the second quarter on the Badik prospect in approximately 220-250 ft water depth.
The local unit of US oil and gas firm Anadarko Petroleum Company previously said the drilling was planned to be carried in the first quarter.
AINC said in a tender announcement Monday that the drilling project will utilize a jack-up drilling rig, adding that bidders shall be required to provide the goods and/or services which meet AINC requirements for the drilling process.
The planned drilling would mark the resumption of drilling campaign in the block by the company, having delayed it for over one year. It previously planned drilling in 2012.
Anadarko is the Nunukan PSC operator with 35 percent interest. Medco Energi has 40 percent interest in the block with the balance equally shared by Indian firms Videocon Industries Limited and Bharat PetroResources Limited.
