Anadarko to drill two wells in offshore E. Kalimantan PSCs

The agency's external division head Agus Suryono told Petromindo.Com in Jakarta on Monday that Anadarko is scheduled to start drilling Pancang-1 exploration well in Popodi PSC on June 5 to10 using GS Explorer drillship, and another one called Badik-1 exploration well in Nunukan PSC on June 5-7 by using West Triton rig.
Both rigs are on the way to the location, he said.
Anadarko is the block?s operator with 35 percent interest in Nunukan PSC, IDX-listed firm Medco Energi has 40 percent interest with remaining balance equally shared by Indian firms Bharat Petroleum Corp. and Videocon Industries.
Anadarko is also the operator in Popodi deepwater block with 24 percent interest.
Anadarko has also non-operated interest in Bukat, Muara Bakau and Ambalat PSCs offshore East Kalimantan , which are operated by Eni SpA.(godang)
