Aneka Gas to double filling stations to 200 units

IDX-listed industrial gas supplier PT Aneka Gas Industry plans to more than double its gas filling stations to 200 units through to 2020 to meet growing demand from industries at home, Kontan reported on Saturday.

The paper quoted Vice President Director of Aneka Gas, Rachmat Harsono as saying that the company currently operates 93 filling stations and 43 gas plants scattered in 23 provinces in the country.

He said that in the first nine months of this year, the company has built nine filling stations, and plans to develop two other units in the remaining period of the year.

In the following years, the company plans to build filling stations and gas plants in areas in Maluku and Papua regions, Rachmat said.

In the January-September period of this year, Aneka Gas saw net profit jumped by 47 percent to Rp 67 billion compared to the corresponding period of last year. Revenue in the first nine months of this year increased by 11 percent to Rp 1.33 trillion year-on-year. The industrial gas segment accounted for about 93 percent of the company?s total revenue. (*)
