Aneka Tambang 1H Net IDR212.78B Vs IDR58.77B

State-owned mining company PT Aneka Tambang (P.ATB) said Monday its net profit rose to IDR212.78 billion during the first half of the year from IDR58.77 billion a year earlier.
The company said net sales doubled to IDR725.26 billion from IDR354.49 billion from a year earlier.
The company didn't explain why net sales jumped sharply.
Analysts had expected the company to report much higher net sales in rupiah terms during the first half of the year due to the rupiah's fall against the dollar. The company exports most of its nickel and gold.
Aneka Tambang said its operating profit rose to IDR303.14 billion from IDR81.66 billion. (*)
