Anggur-3 well in E. Java reaches 1,992 m depth

Australian oil and gas explorer Cue Energy Resources Limited (Cue) said Friday that on 21st September 2001, the Anggur-3 well, in Sampang production sharing contract (PSC) area offshore East Java, was at 1,992 meters and running intermediate wireline logs prior to running 9(5/8)" casing.

According to Cue, the well is programmed to a total depth of 2,708 meters.

Santos Limited is the PSC operator with 45 percent working interest while Coastal Indonesia Sampang and Cue hold 40 percent and 15 percent, respectively. (alex)
