Another 130 mining companies secure C&C status

The government has awarded "clean and clear" status to another 130 mining companies that have no overlapping areas with any other mining permit holder.

With such status, the holders of mining business permits (IUP) of mineral could submit proposal to obtain exporter license on mineral ores.

Director General of Mineral and Coal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Thamrin Sihite announced the names of companies with clean and clear status on June 25.

It is the fifth announcement made by the government so far.

Data from the ministry shows as of May 31, of the 10,361 IUPs issued by the local administrations, only 4,496 permits have secured the clean and clear status, comprising 2,688 mineral mining companies and 1,808 coal miners.
