Another Central Omega director tenders resignation

IDX-listed PT Central Omega Resources Tbk announced Tuesday that Director Lim Anthony had on May 27 tendered his resignation.
This is the second resignation made by a company senior official in a week after Director Ciho Darmawan Bangun tendered his resignation on May 23.
The company is scheduled to hold an extraordinary shareholders meeting on June 14 to discuss the resignation of the two directors.
Lim, who was appointed as Executive Director of the company in January 2011, currently also serves as commissioner of PT Wahana Global Lestari, PT Megagraha International, PT Taman Talagaking, and PT Megarend Semesta. He is also President Director of PT Jinsheng Mining, according to company website.
Central Omega?s subsidiary PT COR Industri, which is 40.5 percent owned by China?s Macrolink Group, has recently completed construction of a 100,00-ton per annum nickel pig iron smelter in North Morowali, Central Sulawesi. The company is currently in the process of developing a second 100,000-ton per annum NPI smelter in the same area, and plans a third to have a combined capacity of 300,000 tons per year.
