Ansi Mega eyes geothermal sector

Oil and gas services company PT Ansi Mega Instrumenindo is eying the geothermal sector as part of diversification strategy amid ?difficult condition? in the upstream oil and gas sector, Kontan reported on Monday.

The paper quoted Ansi President Director P. Budyarso as saying that aside from the current weak oil price environment, the government new gross split policy has affected its businesses in the upstream oil and gas sector.

To help ensure revenue, he said that the company is now eying to grab new business from the geothermal sector specifically in the installment of equipment. ?This year we?ll try to participate in geothermal tender,? he said, but did not provide further details. (*)
