Antam announces Board changes

IDX-listed state miner PT Aneka Tambang Tbk during its recently held shareholders' extraordinary general meeting announced the replacement of four members of its board of commissioners.
Those replaced include President Commissioner Wisnu Askari Marantika, as well as Commissioner Sri Mulyanto, Irwan Bahar and Mahmud Hamundu. The new board of commissioners will have R. Sukhyar as President Commissioner, Bambang PS Brojonegoro, Zaelani, Burhan Muhamad and Laode Kamaludin as Commissioners, as well as Hikmahanto Juwana as Independent Commissioner.
Claimed to be the first company to receive ore export license from the Indonesian government, the company expects to enter commissioning stage of its chemical grade alumina project at the end of 2013 with expected output of 300,000 tons.
Feasibility study on its Mempawah smelter grade alumina project is expected to complete at the end of this year, with the installed capacity of 1.2 million tons per annum. The company stated it will need up to Rp 1 billion worth of investment to complete the construction.
Antam President Director Alwinsyah Lubis stated that the company sold 25 percent of its products output to Europe, 15 percent to South Korea and 9 percent to Japan.
