Antam discovers new gold resources in Jambi, Bengkulu

IDX-listed mining firm PT Aneka Tambang Tbk said that it has discovered gold resources at its IUP concessions in Sarolangun, Jambi, and Merangin, Bengkulu.

Hendra Santika, Antam's Director of Business Development told Petromindo.com recently that the company is still conducting geological mapping and exploration drilling at the concessions.

"We have found indications of gold resources at both IUP locations, but we haven't yet to disclose the resources statement," he said, adding that the two concessions in Jambi and Bengkulu have a combined acreage of 8,000 hectares.
