Antam ends iron sands mining in C. Java

IDX-listed state miner PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk. (Antam) announced on Wednesday that it has officially ended iron sands mining in Kutoarjo, Central Java, after 25 years in operation.
The company said official ceremony to end mining operation was held at the mine site on January 21, 2014.
Operation was terminated due to reserves depletion.
