The management of gold and nickel producer PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. (Antam) is planning to buy back its US$195 million bonds and currently evaluating its cash flow for this purpose, the Bisnis Indonesia newspaper reported in its Thursday edition.
The bonds were issued last year.
?We have not yet decided when to start buying back (the bonds) and how much we shall buy,? Antam?s director of finance Kurniadi Atmosasmito told the paper on Wednesday.
Antam has already bought $5 million bonds in July 2004, Kurniadi said.
Meanwhile, Antam?s company secretary Ashur Wasif said his company would buy back the bonds at the average price of 94 percent. (*)
