Antam eyeing 2.45 ton gold production this year

IDX-listed mining company PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) targets 2.45 tons of gold production this year from Cibaliung mine in Banten Province and Pongkor mine in West Java province, a senior official of the firm said on Wednesday.
Last year, the company produced around 2.2 ton from both mines, Antam?s Corporate Secretary Tri Hartono told Petrmindo.com
?Last year we had many problems at mines, especially in Cibaliung, which was hit by a landslide and a decrease in ore grade,? he said.
