Antam: Ferronickel sales up 37%

IDX-listed mining firm PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) reported Friday that ferronickel sales volume last year increased by 37 percent to 19,748 tons of nickel in ferronickel (TNi) from 14,441 TNi in 2013.
Meanwhile, gold sales volume in 2014 rose by 4 percent to 9,978 kg (320,800 oz) compared to the volume in 2013.
Gold accounted for 52 percent of Antam?s 2014 unaudited net sales revenue of Rp 9.46 trillion, the company said in a statement. The revenue was a 16 percent decline compared to 2013 in line with falling commodity prices including nickel and gold as well as government of Indonesia?s mineral ore export ban policy introduced in January of 2014.
