Antam gold quarter output higher

IDX-listed miner PT Aneka Tambang (Antam)has recently reported 7 percent higher gold output this quarter compared to the same period last year, at 608 kg (19,548 toz) in Q1 2013 compared to 570 kg (18,326 toz) last year.
"Gold sales volume in the first quarter of 2013 jumped 63% to 2,909 kg (93,526 toz) over the same period of 2012 in line with strong demand," the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The company said that gold was the largest contributor for its Q1 2013 net sales, amounting to Rp 1.55 trillion or 46.5% of the company's total net sales. The company also said that the construction of Tayan CGA project has reached 91 percent by the end of Q1 2013, thereby commissioning could be expected to start in the third quarter of 2013.
