Antam in talks with Chinese firm to exploit Riau bauxite deposit

JSX-listed nickel state miner PT. Aneka Tambang Tbk. Is in talks with an undisclosed Chinese company to develop its bauxite reserves in Kijang, Riau island province, company president said.
Antam president Dedi Aditya Sumanegara said that the project?s feasibility was boosted by the new technology proposed to develop the project and soaring commodity price.
He, however, declined to give further detail.
Antam corporate secretary Ashur Wasif when contacted by Petromindo.Com said that Antam planned to build alumina project in Kijang. (godang)
