Antam mulls New York listing

IDX-listed mining firm PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) is considering the possibility of listing its shares on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to help raise funds from US investors for business expansion, Media Indonesia reported on Tuesday.

The paper quoted Antam Finance Director Dimas Wikan Pramudhito as saying that the company has been invited by the Indonesia Stock Exchange along with 10-15 other listed firms to visit the NYSE in the middle of this month for possible dual listing.

Dimas said that in addition to being listed on the IDX, the company?s shares are also listed in Australia. He did not provide further details about the NYSE listing. (*)
