"The export license is the result of Antam's compliance to the regulations," said company President Director Alwinsyah Lubis, adding that the company plans to go on with its smelter project, expected to start operating in 2014.

Until the end of April, the company has shipped 2.34 million wmt of nickel ore, while it's expecting to export additional 2.275 million wmt in the next three months to Japan, Europe and China.
