Antam pays Rp 65.6 billion in dividend

JSX-listed mining firm PT. Aneka Tambang annual general meeting on Thursday agreed to pay Rp 65.6 billion in cash dividend (Rp 34.42 per share) (US$=Rp.8, 250), or 32.5 percent of the company?s 2002 net earnings.
The dividend will be payable early August, said the company?s release.
The company booked net earnings of Rp 202 billion in 2002, with net sales of Rp 1.7 trillion.
The company?s major income comes from nickel and gold operations in South East Sulawesi and West Java, respectively.(godang)
