Antam plans cooperation with Australia Gold

The state-owned general mining company PT Aneka Tambang is planning to team up with Australia Gold to import gold for domestic supply, a company source said.

The source said that out of the domestic gold demand of between 60-80 million tons per year, Antam could only supply 4 tons per year, while the remainder had to be imported.

The source said that Australia Gold has a capacity of 160 tons per year.(Amoros)
