Antam production up in Q4 2002

Publicly listed general mining company PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) said on Friday it had produced 2,818 tones of contained nickel in ferronickel during Oct ? Dec quarter of 2002, higher from previous quarter of 2,271 tons.
Antam said production of high-grade nickel ore was 772,667 wet metric tons (wmt) with production for low-grade, including Low Grade Saprolite Ore reached 365,167 wmt.
The company has sold 3,256 tones of ferronickel during the quarter or 77 percent up from it sales in previous quarter.
Antam further said it gold production in the quarter was 1,126 kg while silver production reached 7,525 kg. (robert)
