Antam receives award for best financial report

The government announced on Friday the annual reports of PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) and Perum Pegadaian were the best annual reports produced by state enterprises this year.
Antam, the country's largest nickel producer, won the 2003 Annual Report Award for the publicly listed company category, beating out Bank Danamon, Bank Niaga and insurance firm PT Asuransi Bintang, which were came second, third and fourth respectively. In the non-listed category, the government named the annual report of Pegadaian as the best.
The annual event was organized by the Office of the State Minister for State Enterprises, the Directorate General of Taxation at the Ministry of Finance, the Capital Market Supervisory Agency (Bappepam), the Jakarta Stock Exchange, the Indonesian Accountants Association and the National Committee for Corporate Governance.
