Antam remains part of LQ45 and IDX30 on IDX

PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) announced last week the company remains part of the LQ45 and IDX30 indexes on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) based on results conducted by the IDX for the period of August 2019 until January 2020. The LQ45 and IDX30 indexes comprise of listed companies on IDX with the highest liquidity, higher market capitalization and also supported by good corporate fundamentals.

Antam's Director of Finance, Dimas Wikan Pramudhito said in a statement: “The re-establishment of Antam’s share in the LQ45 and IDX30 indexes on the IDX reflects the positive appreciation from shareholders of the company’s shares, financial and operational performances. In line with the continuous innovation and the implementation of Company's strategic plan, Antam is committed to deliver positive returns to the shareholders and stakeholders.”

Antam’s positive share performance was reflected from the number of investors trading in Antam’s shares. Until July 2019, a total of 52,182 investors held Antam shares, an increase of 11 percent compared to the total investors at the end of 2018 of 47,085.

Antam’s shares were also actively traded on IDX. Until July 2019, Antam closing share price reached Rp 935 per share, increased by 22 pwercent compared to the closing price at the end of 2018 which stood at Rp 765 per share. In July 2019, the average traded shares reached 98.17 million shares with the average daily trading value of Rp 88.53 billion.
