Antam reports lower coal sales revenue

IDX-listed mining firm PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) said on Tuesday that its coal subsidiary PT Indonesia Coal Resources (ICR) saw sales revenue in the first nine months of this year dropped by 31.91 percent to Rp 87.97 billion from Rp 129.19 billion in the corresponding period of last year.

The company did not provide explanation for the drop in sales revenue.

Antam said in a statement that coal sales volume in the nine-month period of this year reached 171,697 tons. The company did not provide comparative figure.

It said that unaudited coal sales revenue in the third quarter reached Rp 35.17 billion. No comparative figure was provided.

Antam through ICR produces coal from the Sarolangun coal mine located in Jambi Province. The Non-JORC coal reserves currently stands at 8.25 million tons with the average value of 5,300 until 5,500 Kcal/kg.
