IDX-listed mining firm PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) said that gold production in the January-November period of this year totaled around 2 tons, compared to the full-year target of 2.45 tons.

"Totally up to November, we have produced around 2 tons,? Antam Operational Director Zamzam Jamaluddin told Petromindo.com last week, but did not provide comparative figure for last year?s 11-month period. He also did not say whether the company would be able to meet the full-year production target.

Antam produces gold from its Cibaliung and Pongkor mines in West Java. Antam also purchases gold from other parties. Gold accounted for about 68 percent of the company?s net sales last year.
