Antam?s coal sales drops by more than 56%

IDX-listed mining company PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) said that coal sales volume of its subsidiary PT Indonesia Coal Resources (ICR) dropped by 56.80 percent to 207,350 tons last year from 480,007 tons in the previous year.
The company said in a statement on Wednesday that unaudited revenue from coal sales last year were recorded at Rp 129.39 billion. Meanwhile in the fourth quarter (4Q) of last year, unaudited sales of coal reached Rp 41.42 billion or a 5 percent increase compared to 4Q15 sales.
Antam through ICR produces coal from the Sarolangun coal mine located in Jambi Province. The Non-JORC coal reserves currently stands at 8.25 million tons with the average value of 5,300 until 5,500 Kcal/kg.
