Antam’s director of operation, commissioner end five-year tenure

IDX-listed mining firm PT Aneka Tambang Tbk announced on Monday that Hari Widiajanto had on March 26 ended a five-year tenure as the company’s director of operation. 

The company said in a statement that Robert Simanjuntak, a member of the company’s board of commissioners, has also completed his five-year tenure.

Antam said that according to its Articles of Association, the term of office for members of the board of directors/commissioners shall not exceed the period of five years.  Hari and Robert were appointed into the respective position on 26 March 2014. 

“To maintain the stability of operation activity, in accordance with the provisions of Antam's Articles of Association, Antam's board of commissioners have an obligation to appoint one of company's member of (board of) directors to fill out the duties of vacant position of operation director with the equal right and authority,” Antam said in the statement, but did not provide further details.
