Antam?s gold mine worker killed in accident

A worker at state mining company PT Aneka Tambang (Antam)’s gold mine in Pongkor, Bogor regency, was killed in a rock slide accident early Tuesday, The Jakarta Post reported Wednesday.
A finance staffer of the company, Rochmadi said that Suranto, 37 was working at the mine at about 2:30 a.m. with three others when the rocks he was standing on collapsed.
The rocks had become unstable after water had seeped into them, Rochmadi said. (*)
