Antam starts exploring Papua copper-gold prospect

IDX-listed state miner PT Aneka Tambang Tbk has started exploration program at its huge copper-gold prospect in Pegunungan Bintang regency, Papua this year, a company official said on Wednesday.
Development Director Tato Miraza said the company will conduct intensive exploration programme in the prospect for three years in an attempt to fully understand its potential.
The company obtained exploration license on 200,000 hectares of land by the end of 2008.( bernard)
