Antam, Sucofindo sign MoU on mining exploration

IDX-listed mining firm PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) and state-owned consultancy services firm PT Sucofindo signed on Monday a MoU under which the latter company would help the former in carrying out exploration activities to find new reserves.
The MoU was signed by Antam President Director Arie Prabowo Airotedjo and Sucofindo President Director Bachder Djohan Buddin.
?The MoU will support Antam and its subsidiaries and affiliates in its business processes in line with the competencies of Sucofindo which are in the areas of inspection, (laboratory) test and certification,? Bachder said in a statement obtained Tuesday. No details about the planned cooperation were provided.
Sucofindo said it has 61 years of experience in providing inspection services for the mining industry, supported by its advanced laboratories and experiences experts. The company also provides seismic acquisition services.
