Antam to build nickel pig iron plant in SE Sulawesi

Jakarta-listed state miner PT Aneka Tambang Tbk has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary called PT Abuki Jaya Stainless Indonesia (AJSI) to carry out development of nickel pig iron plant in North Konawe regency, Southeast Sulawesi.
The company said in a report released on Tuesday that currently AJSI is in the process of completing feasibility study and completing necessary permits.
The company did not give further detail. (alex)
