Antam to increase ferronickel sales to 26,000t next year

IDX-listed mining firm PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) aims to increase ferronickel sales volume next year to 26,000 tons, around 8.3 percent higher than the initial sales target of 24,000 tons for this year, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Wednesday.

The paper quoted Antam President Director Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo as saying, however, that ferronickel sales this year is likely to be only around 22.3 million tons, lower than initial target, due to maintenance work at its facility since the start of the year.

?For next year, the ferronickel sales target is 26,000 tons, while gold sales target is 24 tons,? Arie said.

Last year, Antam?s ferronickel sales reached 20,000 tons. (*)
