Antam to increase Pongkor's gold production

IDX-listed company Aneka Tambang (Antam Tbk) expects to increase gold production at Pongkor mine this year.
The company, as reported on its annual report said that it targeted to produce 3,316 kg (106,612 toz) with 2,001 kg (64,334 toz) from Pongkor and 1,316 kg (42,310 toz) from Cibaliung in 2013.
Antam is currently reevaluating its gold and silver deposit at the Pongkor mine. ?We are quite optimistic total gold production should reach around 3 tons in 2013. Bauxite production and sales have been targeted at 150,000 wmt while coal production and sales have been targeted at 1.2 million tons," the company said.
The company is also targeting ferro-nickel production of 18,000 TNi with a target sales volume of 18,000 TNi in 2013.
To maximize cash flow, the company has targeted producing 13 million wmt of nickel ore with a sales target of 11.5 million wmt for 2013.
