Antam to provide 40% dividend

The publicly-listed state-owned general mining company PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) is expected to provide dividend of between 40-50 percent of 2001 net profit.
The Bisnis Indonesia daily quoted company spokesman Dohar Siregar as saying Friday that since 1997, the gold and nickel mining firm has been providing dividend at 40-50 percent of net profit.
He said that 2001 net profit was expected to reach Rp 400 billion (US$1=Rp 10,400). He said that Sept net profit had already reached Rp 311 billion.(*)
