Antang to produce 1 million tons of coal this year

South Kalimantan coal miner PT.Antang Gunung Meratus plans to produce 1 million tons of coal this year, the company?s official said.

?As outlined in the production plan that we submitted to the government, we will produce 1 million tons this year," the official told Petromindo.com on Friday, adding that last year?s output reached around 500,000 tons.

Last year, the company targeted coal production at 1.5 million but the company had problems related to the fact Antang?s concession overlapped the lands owned by other companies

The company sells its coal production to Baramulti Group, the official added. (denny)
