Coordinator of the high profile Indonesian Corruption Watch (ICW) Teten Masduki warned the government to be transparent in the use of the 13.5 percent coal mining royalty.
Teten said that there has been strong indication of abuse in the royalty fund.
?We?re looking for the possibility of abuse in the use of the royalty fund. Based on data compiled, the tendency (of abuse) is quite strong,? he said
Teten said that the anti corruption group would pressure the government to set up an independent commission if more stronger evidence of fund abuse was found.(*)
