Anugerah Bara Kaltim plans to lower 2013 output target

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Anugerah Bara Kaltim (ABK) is targeting to lower its production to around 5 million tons next year as global economy is expected to remain gloomy, an industrial source told Petromindo.Com.
The source said that ABK would produce around 6.5 million tons this year of which some 6 million tons have been secured as of November.
ABK has mineable reserves of 65 million tons with the majority of the products branded as Loa Jana A and Loa Jana B Coal which have CV between 4900-5300 (NAR) with sulfur of 0.1-0.2%.
ABK covering 4,050 hectares in Kutai Kartanegara produced about 5.5 million tons of coal last year and the majority of it was exported to China, Taiwan, India and Japan.
