Anugerah Multico to begin nickel pig iron production in 2014

PT Anugerah Multico hopes that the company?s nickel concession, which covers an area of aboout 800 hectares in South Halmahera regency, North Maluku province, will begin commercial production in 2014.
?The mining area is now on the preparation stage for production,? the company?s director Ladjiman Damanaik told Petromindo.com over the weekend.
He said that the nickel ore from the mining area will be processed into nickel pig iron.
Ladjiman said that the production capacity would reach about 30,000 tons a year. ?The nickel pig iron will be exported to China,? he added.
