Anzoil names Frank Jacobs as new CEO

The board of directors of Anzoil NL has recently announced the appointment of Frank Jacobs as chief executive office (CEO) of the company effective since June 1, 2000.
Jacobs, who first entered the company in February last year as new ventures manager, will lead the transformation of Anzoil.
Anzoil's corporate aim is diversification away from Vietnam through acquiring growth opportunities and cash flow-producing properties.
Jacobs' immediate brief is to implement the Lembak LPG project in Indonesia, which will provide the company with cash flow, and to commence stimulation projects in Australia and Indonesia using the vibration stimulation technology.
In addition, several oil and gas properties are under consideration for acquisition.(*)
