Australian junior oil firm Anzon Energy Limited reported Thursday plans to carry out drilling exploration at Kruh and Kaya fields in South Sumatra in mid 2006 following the encouraging evaluation of the last year?s seismic results.

Chairman Steven J Koroknay said in the company's 2006 annual report that the plan was meant ?to further evaluate our Indonesian properties and possibly expand our activities in that country."

Anzon, through PT Binatek Reka Kruh and PT Indama Putera Kayapratama, has 90 percent working interest each in two adjoining Kruh and Kaya Technical Assistance Contract (TAC) areas, respectively.

According to the report, the existing wells at the Kruh field produced approximately 100 barrels of oil per day last year. (Robert)
