APAC seeks to resolve dispute with RI

ASX-listed APAC Coal Ltd announced Wednesday that it has sent to the Republic of Indonesia a request to resolve the Investment dispute through consultations and negotiations.
The request was sent by the appointed attorneys on behalf APAC, APAC?s subsidiary PT. Deefu Chemical Indonesia that hold directly shares in PT. Batubara Selaras Sapta and APAC?s affiliate, Antig Investments Pte. Ltd, the minority share holders of Deefu.
APAC said last month it was seeking to file arbitration with International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) to resolve investment dispute with Indonesia. It did not say what the dispute is.
