Apexindo bags $57.7m new rig contracts

IDX-listed oil, gas and geothermal contractor PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk obtained a three-years contract extension worth US$53.1 million from Total E&P Indonesie
The contract extension is for the company?s swampbarge rig Raissa to carry out drilling activities in Total?s Tunu field in East Kalimantan, Apexindo said in statement on Wednesday. The previous contract ended this month.
Apexindo has also acquired two new land rig contracts with a total value of $4.6 million: one contract worth US$2.4 million from PT Medco E&P Indonesia for Rig 2 to drill one exploration well in Merangin block, South Sumatra and another contract worth $2.2 million from VICO Indonesia for Rig 14 to drill in Nilam field, East Kalimantan for five months.
