Apexindo gets $8 million onshore drilling contracts

IDX-listed drilling firm PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk has acquired two new drilling contracts with a total value of approximately US$8 million for two onshore rigs located in East Kalimantan and Jambi provinces.
It won a tender from PT Medco E&P Bengara to use Rig 14 for drilling activities in the South Sebuku region, East Kalimantan. The $0.9 million contract is effective three months starting from April 28, 2009 through July 27, 2009, the company said on Thursday.
It got a new contract from Pearl Oil (Tungkal) Limited to use Rig 15 for drilling activities in Jambi area. The one-year contract, is worth $6.9 million. (denny)
