Apexindo lists shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange

PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk, a subsidiary of local oil giant PT Medco International, formally made its capital market debut on Tuesday by listing its 1.745 billion shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX).

The company announced that the listed stocks consisted of 1.545 billion old shares and 200 million new shares. The shares would be traded through the exchange?s main board under code name APEX.

According to its IPO prospectus, the old shares could be traded to the public beginning only after February next year.

The company which also operating in oil and gas sector made its initial public offering (IPO) recently by selling 200 million new shares to the public. Proceeds from the sales of the new shares, which were sold at Rp 500 a piece would be partly used by the company to expand its operation. (robert)
