Apexindo obtains ISO 9001:2000

Publicly listed drilling contractor PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk announced Thursday it had recently received ISO 9001:2000 certification for quality management system from international certification body TUV NORD, Germany.
“The ISO preparation process begun 3 years ago and finally we have obtained the certificate. We believe that Apexindo’s position will improve in the eyes of its clients and potential clients. We also hope that this achievement can be one of the promoting factors to improve the Company’s performance in the future,“ said Apexindo’s president Hertriono Kartowisastro in a statement.
Apexindo currently owns and operates nine onshore drilling rigs, and four submersible swamp barge rigs named “Raisis”, “Maera”, “Raissa” and “Yani”, and one jack up rig named “Rani Woro”.
The company is a subsidiary of oil and gas firm PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. (Robert)
