Apexindo, Santos in talks on contract extension of FPSO

IDX-listed drilling company PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk. is in discussions with Australian firm Santos Ltd to extend the contract of its floating, production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel for the Oyong field in Sampang PSC, Madura Island, West Java operated by Santos (Sampang) Pty. Ltd., a unit of Santos.
?We hope to continue working with Santos. Now the problem is only the terms and conditions,? General Manager of Corporate Finance & Investor Relations at Apexindo, Paolo Kartadjoemena told Petromindo.com.
Two years ago, in a consortium with PT Supraco Lines and PT Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk consortium, Apexindo signed the contract of FPSO Sea Good 101 with Santos for a period of one year with an extension option of one year.
