Apexindo secures $22 million geothermal drilling contract from Chevron

JSX-listed drilling company Apexindo Pratama Duta bagged US$22 million drilling work from US oil giant Chevron to conduct drilling in Salak geothermal power plant in West Java, a company director said on Monday as quoted by media.

Company president Hertriono Kartowisastro said that the land rig would commence drilling work starting second quarter this year for two years.

The company had also secured $5.2 million extension work in Oman for its Raniworo jack-up drilling from Crescent petroleum Company and Indago Oman ltd.

Apexindo is subsidiary of Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. (*)
