Apexindo secures $32.6m contract extension from Chevron

IDX-listed drilling firm PT Apexindo Pratama Duta has bagged a US$32.6 million contract extension from Chevron Geothermal Salak Ltd. (Chevron) for geothermal onshore drilling project in Gunung Salak, West Java.

Under the contract extension, Apexindo will use Rig 4 to carry out Chevron's drilling project for two years until the end of March 2010, Apexindo said in statement.

The Rig 4 possesses a power of 1,750 HP and has been used on the geothermal project since 2002, it said. (denny)
